I am Jamie Getman.

Jamie Getman is a recent graduate of the University of North Florida, who received dual degrees in Psychology and Fine Arts with a concentration in Painting. Through her interest in psychology and the developmental phases in life, she finds inspiration in mental health and how it changes one's interaction in the world.

Getman has worked with Art with a Heart in Healthcare, working with children of both physical
and mental ailments by making works of art with and for them. She has also been in exhibitions put on by the Painting and Drawing Guild at the University of North Florida, featured in the Thomas G. Carpenter Library and Corks Art District. She primarily works in oil paintings but has explored sharing her concepts in printmaking as well as drawing.
